What "reviewed" means on this site
Every educational page displays a published date and a last-reviewed date. Last-reviewed means a member of Credit by Yelison's staff has read the page since that date and confirmed the content, links, and any cited source still reflect current law and guidance as best we can verify — it does not mean an outside law firm has certified the page.
What triggers a review outside the normal schedule
- A change to a relevant federal statute (the FCRA, CROA, or related consumer-protection law).
- A broken or outdated link to a cited government source.
- A reader or client pointing out something that looks wrong — see our Contact page to reach us.
- A change to our own service offering that a page no longer accurately describes.
What we do when we find an error
We correct it directly in the page and update the last-reviewed date. We don't silently remove pages that turn out to be wrong without a note — if a page is retired, it's because the underlying service or law genuinely no longer applies, not to hide a past mistake.
Reviewer information
Content on this site is reviewed internally by Credit by Yelison's own staff. We have not engaged an outside attorney or compliance reviewer to certify this content, and we don't claim one has — several open legal-review items for this business are tracked internally and are not yet resolved. If that changes, this page will say so specifically, with the reviewer named. Reach us at creditbyyelison@gmail.com with any content concern.
